My name
is Dr. Aaron Dingman, but most people call me Dr. D. I grew up in
Morinville, Alberta which is a mid-sized town 20 minutes north of
Edmonton. I did my undergraduate education at the University of Alberta
where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and
Psychology. From there I went to Chiropractic College in Minneapolis,
Minnesota and graduated from there in 2006.
For me,
discovering that I wanted to be Chiropractor was somewhat serendipitous.
I always wanted to be able to help people and when other options became
unavailable, I thought being a Chiropractor would be a great career. I
never imagined that this “career choice” would help people reach towards
optimal health and human potential using the power of their own body! It
was when I really started exploring the principles and premise behind a
Chiropractic lifestyle that I began to truly understand the power of the
intelligence innately put in each and every human being at birth. It was
the harnessing of this power and adaptation of my lifestyle that
ultimately allowed me to go from daily dependence on prescription
stomach medication to being free from the drugs that never did correct
the problem for me. It was along this path to wellness that I began to
understand that chiropractic was more than just treating neck pain, back
pain and headaches, but that it was a way of using the power in one’s
own body to influence all areas of their health and well being. And thus
the innate power of the human body deepens my passion for Chiropractic
daily.
I began practicing chiropractic in Tucson, Arizona in early 2007. It was
here at an amazing clinic called Discover Chiropractic: A Creating
Wellness Center where we were presented the honor of being named the
World Wide Creating Wellness Center of the year for 2007. In June 2008,
I finally came home to Alberta to settle in Red Deer and become a team
member of Larsen Family Chiropractic. When not in the office, I tend to
be active outdoors - anything from hunting and fishing, to hiking,
boating and quading. I enjoy it all. I am an avid soccer and volleyball
player and not only enjoy playing, but I also enjoy coaching and helping
keep other athletes healthy and functioning at optimal levels. I am
actively involved with the Alberta Community and Cooperative Association
youth program and other areas of youth leadership development.
I am passionate about
personally, as well as helping others, strive towards optimal human
potential. During this process you will learn about my 3 E model, where
I am dedicated to EDUCATE in order to EMPOWER, and along the way
ENTERTAIN each patient as we grow towards optimal health and wellness.
I look forward to
serving you and helping you strive to be the amazing person you were
made to be!
